From 2017 to 2018, I had the opportunity to develop my studio practice through a year-long independent study in Florence, Italy, as a part of OCAD U's Florence Program. The body of work that I developed explored storytelling, queer semiotics and disidentification, and the ungendered space that exists within graffiti writing practices.
